From April to September cricket has been played in Meigle since 1876.
The Club plays at Victory Park at weekend afternoons and, with cars parked in the ground, picnics and barbecues are popular. Practice Nights 6pm Tuesday and Thursday.
Currently a first and second team play in the Strathmore Union. The club was a founder member in 1929 and were second to Brechin in that inaugral season.
With Scotland players at all levels in their history, the Club has strong village and farming support. This shows in the family names carried over many years.
Success has come five times as Union Champions in 1954, 1961, 1980, 1998 and 2001.
