Hope you are all keeping well and staying safe. We are missing the start of what is an historic season after promotion last year.
Unfortunately things aren’t looking good for any cricket in the near future but I will update you when I hear any update.
As you will understand the club has outgoings to cover but have decided at this time not to actively take any membership fees for this season at this time as the situation unfolds we may look for something if any cricket is played.
We have therefore decided to run a Summer Draw to bring in some funds for the club. It will consist of 200 numbers at £10 each. This will bring in £2000, of which £1000 (50%) will go to the club with a first prize of £500 to the lucky winner along with further prizes of £250, £150 an 2 x £50.
Once all the numbers are sold the draw will take place, hopefully they will all be sold by the end of May and the money paid out then.
If you let me know what how many numbers you want and if you want a specific number, otherwise I will allocate them for you, if your number has gone I will allocate one for you. Payment can be made direct to Meigle Cricket Club’s account, Sort Code 831535, Account Number 00211244. You can also use the donate button for PayPal payments on the website. Please put your name and “draw” as the reference so I can identify the payments on either payment. Also give me an email at denischristie@blueyonder.co.uk so I know it has been done.
