Match report The '2's started their league campaign with a resounding victory away to Falkland. The home side batted first and go off to a steady start with the openers putting on 28 before the first wicket fell. With Wim saving his wicket taking exploits for first team games this season he was replaced by newcomer Andy Duff who was quick to make his mark taking 2 wickets in his second over. Duff and comeback kid Craig Morrison then ripped through the rest of the Falkland line up to skittle the home side for a paltry 68. Andy finishing with 6-15, Craig 3-14 and Scott Boyer a very respectable 1-7 from 5 overs.

Meigle's run chase faltered at the start as Shaw and Ewan Robertson were back in the hutch early. A spate of boundaries from old hands Mitchell and Trivedi soon had the visitors back on track though and a quickfire 20 from AWOL Evans and 14 from skipper Laing saw Meigle home without too much drama to leave themselves sitting proudly joint top of the third division!
