Match report In an exciting game at a sunny Doocot in Perth the under 13s won their Scottish Cup tie I a super over after the scores an wickets were tied.
Meigle fielded first and opened with Josh and Fred, Josh taking 3 wickets and Fred 1. Wickets fell steadily Matthew taking 2, and calum 1. Doocot were all out for 87 in the 13th over.
Fred and Matthew opened and batted steadily until Matthew was out. Fred continued his good form retired on 30. Josh scored a quick 20 and the rest took the scores level and a run out off the last ball left the wickets tied as well.
This left a super over which Meigle bowled first. Josh bowled well restricting them to 6 for 2 with a run out by Iain & josh and bowliled on the last ball.
Josh & Fred batted for Meigle and josh hit the first ball for 4. A dot followed then Josh hit a 6 to send Meigle into the semi finals in Edinburgh on 5 August.
