Meigle Cricket Club

The much anticipated draw was made tonight for the 2013 Athole Bakery club sixes. The draw was conducted according to official ICC rules by former Scotland skipper Gordon Drummond in the Pivvy after training. This years competition will use a white ball and captains are asked to arrange some coloured kit for their team. Captains are also reminded it is their responsibility to contact all team members prior to the day to confirm availability. The teams are arranged in pools of 4 (with one 5) and the captains are asked to organise 2 extra players to make up a team of 6. There will be a cost of £5 per player and this entitles said player to a burger and a drink.

Team 6. PJ Drummond (c), A Gilmour, D Leese, W Scott

The event takes place on Sunday 14 July with a raffle and bake-off on the day. A more formal timetable will follow soon.
