Athole Bakery Great Meigle Bake Off

Athole Bakery Great Meigle Bake Off 2013 - Four categories: (1) Cupcakes - min. 6 to be submitted of same flavour - (2) Traybake - anything that can be 'baked' or 'refrigerated' in a tray e.g. brownies, slices or treats such as Rocky Road. (3) Cake - one whole cake - any flavour, any size. (4) Savoury - such pies, sausage rolls, quiches etc - this is a freestyle section, again, the judges will look for a minimum of several of the savoury items so they can judge appropriately. ALL BAKING SHOULD BE YOUR OWN WORK. There is NO entry fee, but we ask you support our club fundraising efforts by purchasing some raffle tickets and by handing over your treats for players and spectators to enjoy. A wee donations bowl will be out to aid our fundraising efforts!

You will take a numbered ticket on arrival (between 1 and 2pm) and write on the clipboard your name. Then place your item on the table in the appropriate section. This allows our judges from the Athole Bakery to judge anonymously and to identify the winners in time for the presentations of the trophies (around 2.30pm - 3pm) for each category as well as THE Great Meigle Bake Off overall champion. So get baking and enter some or all categories!
